Sky View Factor
This project compares LiDAR-based Sky View Factor (SVF) estimation with imagery-based approaches for fine-grained urban microclimate analysis. The work has been completed, and the manuscript “PedSVF: Multimodal Aerial-Street Grounding for Pedestrian-Scale Sky View Factor Estimation” is currently under review at ACM SIGSPATIAL 2026.
The project has also been accepted by the 33rd International Conference on Geoinformatics (Geoinformatics 2026), held at the National University of Singapore from July 19-22, 2026, where it will be presented as part of broader work on urban sensing, street-level morphology, and climate-sensitive planning analytics.
